Power supply unit PSU-011 supplies power for FAR-2827W/2837SW models of Radar systems. It is used for vessels with Russian flags.
It can be installed anywhere since it also does not require user operation therefore it also can be installed in a console. PSU-011 can be installed anywhere but the space should well ventilated to allow for cooling and dry to ensure that the power supply unit is protected from moisture.
It should however be installed at a safe distance from the compass to prevent magnetic deviation and interference.
For both standard and steering compass a safe distance of 0.3 metres is required to avoid interference. It is a single phase supply unit and units requiring three phase supply need to install three units.
PSU-011supplies an alternating voltage of 100-115 VAC/220-230VAC and has operating frequency between 50Hz and 60Hz.
