The Furuno PP-510 printer prints transmitted and received messages from the Terminal Unit, IC-216.
The “P.Out” lamp lights to indicate internal errors in the PP-510 or when the printer runs out of paper.
In case of an error display, power off and the printer and if error persists conduct a self-test.
For printer self-test one is required to press the power switch and the Line Feed (LF) key simultaneously. Once self-test has begun the LF key is released and to exit the self-test option, use the power button.
The PP-510 has end of paper sensors that release audible alarm when paper supply is low, this alarm can be disabled using the DIP switch.
